Starting a new school year is an exciting time but can also be a stressful one. Preparing for a new grade level, joining a new classroom and making new friends can cause feelings of anxiety and fear. This year adds COVID-19 to the mix, as children and youth face challenges such as physical distancing in schools and virtual learning. That’s why it is important that as a parent, teacher, or caregiver, you are prepared to support the youth around you as they begin the next school year. Use these tips from the Youth Mental Health First Aid Curriculum to help young people take care of their mental health when going back to school.

I liked your idea to help your kids' mental health by helping them to develop a routine like waking up early and going to bed on time. My friend has been a little unsure of how to homeschool her kids in the most effective way. I think that if they try something like this out, it could help them to learn to develop their own routines later in life which can help them with their mental health.

I do hope that you are going to be able to give me more tips on how to take care of my mental health as I don't have the budget to go to a mental health care practitioner.

It's great that you described that we should offer emotional support to struggling youths. My friend wants to uplift the youth of this generation. She's even trying to help youth welfare donations to encourage involvement.
