2 additional positive COVID-19 cases in Pacific County since Wednesday Total cases since start of pandemic: 821 Number of active cases: 13 -- Active cases are currently spread throughout all parts of Pacific County. The current case rate per 100k over 14 days is 138.6. -- Between February 22 and March 11, our county’s case rate increased dramatically - from 60.1 to 295.7. -- This increase was due to social gatherings. -- Since March 11, our case rate has been decreasing. On March 22, the entire state will move to Phase 3 of the Healthy Washington: Roadmap to Recovery plan. -- In order to stay in Phase 3, Pacific County must have less than 30 new cases over 14 days and less than 3 hospitalizations over 7 days. If we do not meet these metrics, our county will move back to Phase 2 or 1. It will take all of us working together to ensure that Pacific County stays in Phase 3. We must continue to limit non-essential travel, maintain social distancing of at least six feet between persons, and practice personal protective measures to include: correctly wearing a mask/face covering in public, washing hands often with soapy water for at least 20 seconds, and avoid touching your face.
